People Serving People
Everyday volunteers give their time to ensure our uninsured patients can continue to receive needed health care at Samaritan Health Ministries. Donating your time can help make a difference in the lives of those facing barriers to quality health care.
We are always in need of caring people who are looking to give back to the community. Without trusted volunteers, SHM would not exist.
We are in great need of English/Spanish speaking volunteers. About 80% of our patients require translators to communicate during their visits.
Front Desk Receptionist
Performs various duties involving appointment scheduling, transcription, typing, record and file maintenance, mail distribution, telephone reception, and special projects. Responsible for providing support for one or more persons. Frequently interacts with Providers, Nurses, and Medical Assistants.
