Dental Assistant
Full or Part Time
Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities
• Greet and prepare dental patients
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and supplies
• Perform basic and some moderately complex dental procedures
• Assisting in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients’ mouths
dry and clear by using suction or other devices
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures and instruct patients on
postoperative and general oral health care.
• Recording patients’ health histories
• Taking and developing x-rays and preparing dental compounds
• Taking pouring and trimming dental impressions and sealing temporary restorations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
• Certified registered dental assistant license.
• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-year experience as a dental assistant.
• Helpful courses: English, speech, general science, first aid/CPR.
